Our Story

Warehouse 72, a chef-driven, experiential restaurant concept, was conceived by founder Doug Pak following a life-altering event. With the conception of his own restaurant, he channeled his struggles into a project built on the tenets of creativity, nurturing, and fulfillment. Doug, an entrepreneur who is often referred to as ‘a dream builder,’ is inspired by the bright energy in the world and aims to share that through his restaurants.

His decision to bring the Warehouse 72 concept to California, and specifically his hometown in Orange County, is inspired by his desire to share his proudest achievement with a community that holds a special place in his heart, and to share the delicious intricacies his restaurant has to offer.

As he embarks on this new chapter with Warehouse 72 in Irvine, Doug shares the following words with his guests that he hopes to meet on this journey.

Warehouse 72 is not just an ordinary restaurant, it is a product of my personal journey. I have been in the hospitality business for a long time, but I never created a brand from scratch, until now. What started as a dream to create something that would amaze, connect, and inspire people, has resulted in my passion project – Warehouse 72 – and was a turning point in my life.

Warehouse 72 offers high-quality modern American cuisine fused with modern design and contemporary art, creating an elevated dining experience that is comfortable, approachable, and embracing. Each Warehouse 72 location proudly boasts a unique persona, with a distinct design that aligns with specific themes and is expressed in visual arts and music. Orange County’s Warehouse 72 is based on the idea of healing and was designed to evoke the feeling of relaxation and bring healing energy to guests and the community.

Each Warehouse 72 tailors the food and beverage menus to the location. Our chef-driven concept aims to provide fine dining quality and healthier dishes made with clean and high-quality ingredients. Our focus is on bringing forth the integrity of flavors in various modern American dishes by minimizing the use of unnecessary additives and highlighting natural flavors and ingredients. We offer a range of menu options, including monthly prix fixe menus, seasonal menus, private dining menus, wine dinners, birthday and anniversary specials, and more, designed to offer guests a curated and elevated experience.

The number 72 is an angelic number and carries a powerful and meaningful message from the spiritual realm. Inspired by this number, it is our mission to create a cultural landmark that promotes human connection, inspires positive energy, and allows guests to create memories that will last a lifetime.
